Blessed Feathers is a duo based out of Milwaukee, WI. With only a month until the release of their new LP, Blessed Feathers drops the second single from the record, entitled "Stinging Nettle, Honeysuckle." Much like "By Song Through the Americas" was a song of travel and an ode to summer's end, "Stinging Nettle, Honeysuckle" is a bitter reminder of winter's immediacy in the Midwest.
From the Mouths of the Middle Class is an intricate web of equal parts youthful freedom and earthy timbre. The muse of a long, harsh winter spent writing and recording in an underheated Wisconsin house, the result is a gorgeously understanded soundtrack to the final days of summer - when nature is still ringing in your ears, but you know that fall is right around the corner.
