The daddy of all DJ mixes - the mighty DJ Kicks - is back today with a new mix from the Innervision man. You see, Four Tet's eccentric English blend just wasn't enough of a journey into the unknown for us this year so we called on our favourite Berliner to teach us a little bit more about the origins of time. You know, just basic quantum physics type stuff. He is, after all, a graphic designer. And so he gave us not one but two mixes of the most beautiful afrobeat, disco and house we had heard in a long time to try and explain the meaning of everything. We still don't know anything about the big bang or black holes but at least now we have soul. Or two souls to be precise... with one mix on the CD and one as an exclusive download when you buy the CD. How very modern of us. Henrik's single Imagination Limitation is also out now.
