Co/Lab - Los Angeles Artist Run Initiatives at Art Platform - Los Angeles
Los Angeles 2011: Co/Lab is a new and unique event bringing together 19 non-profit art institutions, alternative spaces and independent art initiatives under one roof at the inaugural edition of Art Platform-Los Angeles, the modern and contemporary art fair for Los Angeles from September 30 – October 3, 2011.
At the Co/Lab event, artists, gallerists, curators and collectors can survey the thriving art landscape of Los Angeles and allow art lovers to discover new talents from some of the most exciting new spaces showcasing emerging artists today. Co/Lab is organized by ARTRA Curatorial, in conjunction with Art Platform-Los Angeles, producers of The Armory Show in New York.
In its first ever edition Co/Lab will explore the new "cool school" of the Los Angeles art world. With Los Angeles’ new found reputation as THE dynamic city for contemporary art Co/Lab will present an unforgettable celebration of why ART IS THE NEW BLACK!
