Cheating Death is a frank and intimate character study that takes us inside the mind of a man struggling to break free of the street. For ten years, Gyasi Ferdinand was known as J9. He was a crack dealer in Regent Park, one of Toronto's roughest neighbourhoods, and he always carried a 9mm. Then he got shot. The shooting led to a profound spiritual experience, and a personal struggle that Gyasi had never anticipated. For Gyasi to live, J9 has to die. 4Real Kenya In 4Real Kenya viewers get a chance to travel to Kenya with Somalian refugee, poet and MC, K'naan- The Dusty Foot Philosopher. The film follows K'naan on his first trip back to Africa to film his first music video Soobax, since he escaped the war in Somalia in 1991. While filming the video the crew meet local activist Salim Mohammed. Salim takes them to Kibera (the largest slum in East Africa), where Salim runs a medical clinic and a community development sports program. (24 minutes)

Video Letters follows three girls who's father has been in prison for the past ten years. The film is a result of a mentoring project started in 2004 on Pine Ridge Reservation called Maza Tiopa (Iron Door). The goal of the project is to build a bridge between children and a parent who has been incarcerated. Milt's job was to film "Video Letters" to be taken back and forth between the child and the parent in prison. Video Letters took first place in short documentary at the Native Voices Film Festival in Rapid City. (30 minutes)
